Affiliated Development secures contract for Fort Lauderdale site. Here are the plans.

Affiliated Development wants to redevelop an industrial/office site in the Croissant Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale into apartments.

Andrews Apartments LLC, managed by Jeffrey Burns of Fort Lauderdale-based Affiliated Development, has the 2.69-acre site at 2125, 2107 and 2101 S. Andrews Ave. plus 108, 104, and 100 S.W. 21st St. under contract. The potential sellers are 4451 Associates, 3921 Associates, 2107 Associates and the Joan D. Lafferty Trust.Located on the east side of the FEC Railway and two blocks north of State Road 84, the property currently has several office and industrial buildings. It’s a few minutes from Port Everglades.

The developer is seeking approval for 330 market-rate apartments, 70 workforce housing apartments, 2,453 square feet of commercial space and 564 parking spaces. The eight-story project is called the Era. Amenities would include a pool, a pickleball court, a rooftop observation deck, a coworking space, a fire pit, a pub room with beverage lockers and game, and a fitness room with a yoga studio and sauna.
