$100M Apartment, Commercial Development Approved in Palm Beach County

Boynton Beach officials approved the Pierce, a $100 million mixed-use project by Affiliated Development. This project started in 2020 when the Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) selected the Fort Lauderdale-based developer through a request for proposals (RFP) process for 2.28 acres of city land at 115 N. Federal Highway. The developer later acquired neighboring property from private parties to boost the size of the development site to 3.04 acres.

The Pierce was approved for 300 apartments, 17,015 square feet of restaurants and retail and 587 parking spaces, including 150 spaces deeded to the CRA. The eight-story project will include 150 units of workforce housing.

The apartments would range from 572 to 1,423 square feet. There would be 75 studio apartments, 126 one-bedroom units, 85 two-bedroom units and 14 three-bedroom units.
